“Humana” infant formula passed laboratory testing, as a result of which restrictions were lifted from it.
“Remember, at the beginning of this week we informed you, or rather you asked us that mercury poisoning occurred in the city of Shymkent, allegedly connected with infant formula,” the chairman of the Public Health Committee of the Ministry recalled at the press conference in the CCS Chief Health Officer of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Zhandarbek Bekshin.
The chief health officer said that the Humana formula was tested.
“We checked“ Humana ”infant formula - we took from the supplier and in the pharmacy chain, where we bought this mixture, as well as the remnants of the mixture at home, and we haven’t found metallic mercury today. Therefore, today in the first half of the day, this batch of product has been instructed to sell and remove any restrictions. We have suspended the sale of only one shipment of the Humana infant formula. Today, the question about the children's seven "Human" is removed. After a thorough laboratory study, I repeat once again our government agency informs only on the confirmed results. Laboratory studies were performed in the laboratory of the city of Shymkent, which has international certification, ”J. Bekshin informed.
