Opening the Forum, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Bakhyt Sultanov, said that the number of active exporters in Kazakhstan exceeded 540, which is 100 more companies than in 2020.
Sultanov noted, that the past two years have been difficult for all international trade, and the ongoing consequences of COVID-19 and the geopolitical situation in the world still affect Kazakhstan's foreign trade activity.
- The restrictive measures of the Chinese side have been in force for two years. Since 2020, we have been conducting a full-fledged dialogue at the government level, we continue to work to improve the work of checkpoints at the border. The current Russian-Ukrainian crisis has affected supply chains that have not yet recovered from the pandemic. In the midst of the crisis, the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the Union of Transport Workers, literally in manual mode, were engaged in the return and delivery of goods in the direction of the RoK-EU and EU-RoK. Another related problem was the reorientation of sales markets. I know that many enterprises participating in the Forum today are actively working to find additional opportunities to enter new markets. State structures are also working on export opportunities in new directions, - said the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Trade and Integration.
He also informed entrepreneurs that in order to promote Kazakhstani products in foreign markets and search for reliable buyers, the Ministry of Trade, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is developing Country Export Programs. In addition, experts from QazTrade, an operator for export support measures, have prepared more than two dozen reviews of foreign markets, digests and bulletins, carried out more than 60 analytical work to identify opportunities and risks for trade.
- Now we are working in a coalition of the Ministry of Trade and Integration - Embassies of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 40 countries - Business. Such targeted work has become a qualitative basis for export promotion, B. Sultanov said.

The General Director of JSC QazTrade, Azamat Askaruly, informed businessmen about a wide range of non-financial support measures for the Company that an exporter can receive: from learning the basics of foreign trade to reimbursement of part of the export costs. For example, certification and confirmation of conformity in the markets of other countries, marketing promotion and rental of offices and warehouses, transportation costs, etc.
