The state visit of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the Republic of Turkey has ended

At the international airport of Ankara he was escorted by the Vice-President of the country Fuat Oktay.

The key point of the rich two-day program of the visit was thorough negotiations with Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as a result of which an agreement was reached to bring Kazakh-Turkish relations to the level of an expanded strategic partnership.

Along with this, a number of important intergovernmental agreements were signed that strengthen cooperation in various fields.

In addition, the Head of State met with the heads of Turkish business. A meeting with them will undoubtedly contribute to the strengthening of trade, economic and investment cooperation between the two countries.

As Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized, the implementation of all agreements reached will be under his personal control.
